Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania and is now a Romanian/German actress. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child to Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra got into showbiz early and landed up acting in lead roles on various television dramas by the time she was sixteen. Following her highly acclaimed performance in the TV movie Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable roles such as Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, in Downfall.
