John Denver was a superstar performer who influenced millions of people with his pop-folk songs, many of which were inspired by Colorado. He was born Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. in Roswell New Mexico he fell in affection with Colorado and later moved to Aspen. Denver's anthems for his adopted state have drawn many to Colorado.
